Ana Zaja Petrak is a graphic artist, working and living in Zagreb, Croatia.
After completing her degree in Graphic Design from the Faculty of Architecture / School of Design, Ana spent years in the graphic design industry before returning to her first passion: drawing.
Today she brings her vibrant and bold style to a variety of illustration projects, from packaging and publishing to editorial and branding. Inspired by gastronomy, Mediterranean slow living, and nature, she uses color fearlessly and approaches her subjects in a uniquely playful manner.
She has been introducing more traditional analog methods into her process lately, exploring color and texture in an experimental and expressive manner. Painting and working with mixed media has become a key component of her artistic practice.
Ana’s client list includes:
Conde Nast, Whole Foods Market, Marks & Spencer, San Pellegrino, Penguin Random House, The Telegraph, Fairtrade Foundation UK, The Sunday Times Travel magazine, Ferrero, Target, Il Corriere della Sera, Headline Publishing, Kyle Books.
Her work has been licensed by: IKEA, John Lewis, Anthropology, King&McGaw, East End Prints.
